The Rezidor Hotel Group Announces Three New Hotels to Open in Belarus, Libya and Germany

Brussels | The Rezidor Hotel Group, the Brussels-based hotel management company, announces three new hotels to open Balarus, Libya and Germany by 2010. These three properties will add 768 rooms to the Rezidor portfolio.

The Radisson Olympic Hotel Minsk will be located in the capital of the Republic of Belarus, and is slated to open in Q2 2010. The new hotel will offer 241 guestrooms, two restaurants, a spa and wellness facilities, as well as conference and meeting space. Offering a convenient location, the hotel will be located just four miles from the main railroad terminal and less than 25 miles from the international airport. A city park surrounds the hotel, which is less than a mile from the Minsk Arena, which will offer an indoor sports arena, used for concerts, ice hockey and indoor sporting events.

The Radisson Tripoli in Libya, located on the north coast of Africa, will be a conversion of an existing hotel, which will undergo renovations and open in September 2008. The hotel will offer 333 guestrooms, three restaurants including one located on the rooftop, a convention hall to accommodate 400, two meeting rooms, a pool and a gym. Located in Tripoli's city center, the hotel overlooks Al Fatah Street and a number of diplomatic residences and villas. Tripoli's international airport is just a 30 minutes drive away.

The Park Inn Weimar, located in Germany, will be a conversion of an existing Quality Inn hotel. The Park Inn Weimar is slated to open in March 2008, and will offer 194 guestrooms, a restaurant, a bar, ten conference rooms and an indoor pool. The city of Weimar offers numerous cultural attractions and is one of the most famous cultural destinations in Europe as it was home to luminaries such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Friedrich Schiller.
