Lukashenko demands from Putin to pay compensation

Lukashenko demands from Putin to pay 5 billion USD as compensation; Belarusian leader stated in the interview to Reuters.

According to his statement by increasing price on gas Russia imposed Belarus to serious danger.

In case Moscow does not compensate all damage to Minsk, Lukashenko will take adequate measures, by increasing transit tariffs.

President of Belarus also commented future presidential elections. Lukashenko confirms that only serious disease can force him to deny participating in 2011 elections, however 52 year-old president has no health problems and plans to improve relations with the West in case of being elected for one term more.
