Belarus: BTRC call for songs
Belarussian public broadcaster BTRC have officially called for national and foreign singers to send in their entries for the country's selection for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. An internal jury will make their decision upon the best entry to represent Belarus by March 1st.
All those interested in taking part can submit their materials until February 21st (only one application allowed per person). For a few days, the BTRC jury will assess all the songs, coming up with a final choice by March 1st. No restrictions as to the nationality of singers and songwriters have been set. Songs written in Belarussian, Russian or English are welcome.
Belarus will participate in the second half of the second semifinal of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, to be held on May 12th.
