Belarus will get more than 4 billion dollars in Russian subsidies at the expense of duty-free oil supplies, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said after his talks with Belarusian counterpart Mikhail Myasnikovich in Moscow on Thursday.
For his part, Myasnikovich said that both sides "almost agreed" on a gas price formula related to Russian gas, due to be supplied to Belarus between 2011 and 2015.
During the Thursday talks, the two men also agreed to jointly build a nuclear power plant in Belarus - the first of its kind in the ex-Soviet republic.
