Belarus has suspended deliveries of diesel fuel to European countries, Lenta.ru reports, citing Reuters. Supplies of Russian crude through Belarus to Poland and Germany are being carried out as before.
No official reason for the suspension in oil product deliveries has been made by Belarusian authorities, but industry observers say it could be due to Russia having stopped selling crude to Belarus as of January 1.
Russian companies say they have no contracts with Belarusian counter-agents. Unofficially, the sides have simply been unable to reach an agreement on the price of crude.
