Source: Belarusian state co still has no deals to buy Russian oil

Barrel01MOSCOW, Jan 12 (PRIME-TASS) -- Belarus' state-owned oil trading monopoly Belorusneft has so far failed to conclude new contracts to buy Russian oil, a Belarusian government source told PRIME-TASS Wednesday.

Belarus is not implementing contracts to export the country's own oil because of uncertainty over Russian oil supplies, the source added.

Meanwhile, Russian oil majors Rosneft and Lukoil said they halted oil supplies to Belarus on January 1 due to a pricing dispute, Dow Jones Newswires reported. However, transit shipments remain unaffected, a spokesperson for Russia's oil pipeline monopoly Transneft said, as cited by Dow Jones Newswires.
