RPT-Russia tells oil firms to reduce flows to Belarus

MOSCOW, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Russia has told oil firms to re-route some flows scheduled for Belarussian refineries to the Polish port of Gdansk as Moscow and Minsk struggle to agree a new supply deal, traders said on Friday.

Traders cited a letter by pipeline monopoly Transneft telling oil firms to re-route one third of supplies previously meant to flow to Belarussian refineries to Gdansk.

Some traders said a few firms had already agreed with the order and would ship crude to Gdansk. Some other firms agreed to reduce supplies to Belarus but would seek destinations other than Gdansk for their oil.
