Another round of talks on oil supply to Belarus ends in Moscow

MOSCOW, January 7 (Itar-Tass) - Russia and Belarus have ended another round of talks on oil supplies to Belarus, the Russian Energy Ministry's spokeswoman, Irina Yesipova, told Itar-Tass on Thursday.

"During the whole process of talks serious rapprochement is being signalled," she said.

"Today, the talks are completed, but the negotiating process is not over," she said. "We hope that the sides will work out a coordinated position soon."

Yesipova said representatives of the Belarussian delegation who participated in the talks in Moscow plan to fly to Minsk for the detailed consultations.

"Belarussian experts are in close contact with their Russian counterparts," she said. "Probably, the negotiating process will be long-distance for some time."
