CSTO Secretary General to visit Belarus

Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization /CSTO/ Nikolai Bordiuzha to pay a working visit to Belarus on January 9, BelTA learnt from the CSTO press service.

"The trip will be made within the framework of the preparation for the CSTO summit which is expected to be held in early 2009. The sides will discuss the implementation of the decisions of the informal summit of the heads of the CSTO member states which was held in late December last year," Nikolai Bordiuzha said.

CSTO spokesman Vitaly Strugovets noted that during the visit to Minsk, Nikolai Bordiuzha is expected to meet with the State Secretary of the Belarusian Security Council, the Foreign Minister and the heads of the Belarusian security agencies.
