New head of EP delegation for relations with Belarus
A Polish MEP Jacek Protasiewicz from Civic Platform (PO) was elected chairman of the delegation for relations with Belarus in the European Parliament. He was elected by acclamation.
Protasiewicz takes over from Bogdan Klich, who became the Minister of National Defence in Poland. The PO MEP belongs to the largest party in the European Parliament - the European People's Party, to which MEPs from PO and Polish Peasants Party (PSL) belong.
