Belarusian president ready to introduce euro

Belarus is more ready to introducing euro than any other country, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko told in an interview to Die Welt (Germany).

Lukashenko said the time has come for Belarus and the West to think about cooperation. As press office of the president says, the statement and some other announcements made by the Belarusian president about cooperation with the European Union and Russia were not included into the publication because of the shortened version of the article.

According to Lukashenko, development of Belarusian-EU cooperation depends on Europe as well. "I want Belarusians to live like people in Sweden and Germany do. What else is needed?! It was the way I have been pursuing my policy through all these years," the Belarusian president explained.
