Oil supply to Hungary through Druzhba pipeline resumed

BUDAPEST, January 11 (Itar-Tass) - Oil supply to Hungary through the Druzhba pipeline was resumed overnight, spokesman for the Hungarian Economy and Transport Ministry Gergely Abraham said on Thursday.

Oil supplies were stopped on Monday over Russian-Belarussian dispute over oil transit. On Tuesday, the Hungarian leadership made a decision to use the country's strategic oil reserves.

Minister of Economy and Transport Janos Koka said in this connection that Hungary will not have disruption in oil and petroleum products' supply and the situation will not cause price hikes. The Hungarian side considered several variants of the problem settlement - from the use of strategic reserves to the supply of fuel from the Adria oil pipeline.
