Putin orders govt to continue oil talks with Belarus

MOSCOW, January 9 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin believes it is "necessary to continue talks with Belarussian partners over the resolution of the situation with the supplies of oil to Belarus and oil transportation via Belarus."

The head of state said so at a meeting with Cabinet officials in the Kremlin, as he was speaking to Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov.
