Poland is suffering "disruptions" in Russian oil imports via the Druzhba pipeline due to a deepening dispute between Russia and Belarus over oil duties, the Polish economy ministry said Monday.
"We are experiencing disruptions in oil supplies," ministry spokesperson Agnieszka Gapys said.
Gapys said she could provide no further information on the nature or duration of the disruption in supply. More information is expected at a ministry news briefing scheduled for 1200 GMT. The two main Polish customers for Russian oil, refiners PKN Orlen (PKN.WA) and Grupa Lotos (LTS.WA), didn't confirm any interruption in supplies.
"We don't have anything to say on this matter now. As soon as we learn more, we will," PKN Orlen spokesman Dawid Piekarz said.
